On January 14th, model Masuwaka Tsubasa announced on her official blog that she and her husband, model Umeda Naoki have filed for divorced.
With the tile “Announcement to everybody”, she wrote, “I, Masuwaka Tsubasa, am filing for divorce from Umeda Naoki-san. This is something we decided after spending a long time on many many discussions, and as a result of that, we have come to the conclusion to walk the separate paths for each other’s sake. Ever since our marriage, we received lots of support from everybody, but I am sorry that it ended up like this, and I am sorry for making a sudden announcement through a blog. Since I have always been releasing important matters via my blog, I wanted to make an announcement on my blog this time as well.”
Masuwaka married Umeda in December of 2007 and they had their first son in April 2008.
At the end of the post, Masuwaka wrote, “As a mother, I want to continue walking through my new life unhurriedly.”
