The jacket covers of 9-member girl group SanMyu~’s debut song “Kuchibiru Network” has been revealed; the group is set to make their major debut on January 23 under Pony Canyon.
The group belongs to Sun Music that has produced numerous popular idols including Matsuda Seiko (50) and the group’s debut single “Kuchibiru Network” is the cover of the late singer Okada Yukiko’s hit song. The jacket cover reflects the style of 1980s idol groups as the group is clad in all white.
Leader Nishizono Misuzu (17) showed ambition with, “I will do my best to make Sanmyu~ a group that is beloved by many people.”
The group will hold a debut event at the Sunshine Funsui Hiroba in Ikebukuro on January 26.
